The University of Balochistan is a Public Sector University, established in 1970 which seeks the services of strong & dynamic local/domiciled residents of Balochistan, fulfilling the requirements, as mentioned below for the following statutory/other positions:-

SITUATIONS VACANT

• Director General (Planning & Development)

 • BE (Civil) / MBA / MA Economics qualification with the at least 2nd class from any Development recognized university. 

• 20 years administrative experience including Establishment / Services matters and relevant/specific experience of Planning and Development, PC-I, Proposals etc in a relevant post equivalent to BPS-17 and above in university / Govt. Department / Autonomous organization. 

• Preference shall be given to those candidates, who have higher academic qualifications and relevant experience of serving against BPS-19, for at least two years. 

• Controller of Examinations 

• Postgraduate having at-least 2nd class from a recognized university / 17 years teaching / administrative experience, including experience of Establishment / Service matters and to conduct examinations in a post equivalent to grade-17 and above in university/board / Government Department / Autonomous organization. 

• At least 05 years experience to handle examination affairs in a reputable institution, dealing with the examination results of more than 10,000 candidates. 

• Preference shall be given to those candidates who have higher academic qualifications and relevant experience of serving against BPS-19 for at least 02 years. 

• In case of higher qualifications, 2 years relaxation in upper age limit and experience will be given. 

• Director (Planning & Development)

• MBA / M.A Economics preferably 1st Class from HEC recognized University with Seven (07) years Administrative experience in a post equivalent to BPS-17 and above in a university/board / Govt. Department / Autonomous organization. 

• Preference shall be given to those candidates who have a higher academic qualification and administrative experience of serving against BPS-18 at least for last two years. 

• Chief Librarian 

PhD degree in Library & Information Sciences from any HEC recognized university with Thirteen (13) years experience. OR Master's Degree in Library & Information Sciences from any HEC recognized university with Seventeen (17) years experience. 

• Chief Security Officer

2nd class Master's degree from any HEC recognized university. 

Must be retired Lt. Col. / Major / SP with sound physic. Preferably with intelligence and security experience. The appointment will be on contract basis for a period of two  years (extendable)

b. The application processing-fee Rs. 3,0001= (NON-REFUNDABLE) in shape of Bank Demand Draft in favor of the Treasurer, University of Balochistan must be deposited for each application form or can be deposited in the challan form of University of Balochistan in the HBL Bank, University Branch. 

c. The candidates are required to submit their application forms along with TWO copies of curriculum vitae. attested recent photographs, copies of CNIC, all the educational degrees and other testimonials in dossier shape. 

d. Experience Certificate as per CV must be attached with the application form. 

e. Applicants already in service should apply through proper channel along with HOC issued by their parent departments by the due date, otherwise; their applications will not be entertained. 

f. Incomplete applications or received after the due date, not fulfilling the minimum criteria or without processing fee would not be entertained in any case. 

g. Test and interview will be held in University of Balochistan Quetta. No T.A/ D.A is admissible. 

h. Canvassing in any manner or form will lead towards disqualification. 

i. The Competent Authority of the University of Balochistan reserves the right of canceling any or all of the above positions, without assigning any reasons thereof.
