Applications are invited from potential candidates for the Academic positions of Lecturers, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors to be appointed on contract/BPS/TTS. General terms and conditions are as under:-

Conditions:

1. Complete application along with attested copies of educational degrees/mark sheet, experience certificates, CNIC, two Passport Size Photos with all other relevant documents should be submitted to Manager HR Office, Karakoram International University Gilgit, Gilgit-Baltistan. Application Form may be downloaded from KIU website. www.kiu.edu.pk. 

2. Only eligible candidates will be invited for Test/ Interview. Applicants working in government, semi-government, autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel. Advance copies and CVs via email will not be entertained. 

3. Details of vacant positions, age relaxations admissible as per government rules, eligibility criteria for each position and detailed terms/conditions have been uploaded on KIU WEBSITE for the convenience of candidates. 

4. TTS faculty serving in universities/HEls who want to apply for senior faculty positions can apply as per TTS statutes (CON.QA/HEC/TTS-137/326 dated December 4, 2017) through proper procedures. 

5. Applications for the posts should be supported with a crossed postal order of amounting to Rs.1000/- in the name of Treasurer/Registrar, Karakoram International University Gilgit-Baltistan.
6. It must be noted that eligibility mentioned against each position is the minimum requirement. 

7. The University reserves the right to postpone or cancel appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason. 

8. The last date of submission of documents is January 21, 2019.
