Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, (BUET) Khuzdar is a Pubic sector university, imparting quality education in Engineering. We invite applications from energetic, competent and experienced candidates for the following positions:- 

SITUATIONS VACANT

• Registrar (NPS-20) 

Qualifications: M.A, preferably in Administrative Sciences/ B.E in any discipline of Engineering. 

Experience: 18 years experience in the Academic/ Administration in any Government/ Semi -Govt. organization in BPS-17 or above 55 years 

• Treasurer (NPS-20) 

Qualifications: Master's degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics and other relevant subjects. 

Experience: 18 years experience in Grade 17 or above or equivalent in the field of Audit, Accounts, Budget & Financial Management.

• Director of Planning and Works (NPS-20) 

Qualifications: B.Sc, Civil Engineering, with MS from HEC-recognized university (preferably foreign qualified). 

Experience:

• 20 years of experience (after Graduation) in Planning, Design, Construction and Project Management. 

• Experienced in preparation of PC-I, Project Scope and Summary Report (PSSR), Project Report (PR). 

• Knowledge of Design software, like CAiCE, Civil 3D, Microstation, AutoCAD will be an asset. 

• Preference will be given to candidates, with experience in an international organization.

• Director ORIC (NPS-20) 

Qualifications: Ph.D in Basic Sciences/ Engineering / Information Technology / Management Sciences 10 years academic/ research experience in national & international organization. 

Experience: 10 publications (HEC-recognized journals) and most have strong ties with local Govt. Business/ industry, entrepreneurs and universities. 

• Librarian (NPS-19) 

Qualifications: Master's in Library Sciences, preferably in First Class, from an HEC-recognized university. 

Experience: 13 years' experience in Library, administration in posts, equivalent to BPS-17 and above in a recognized university, Board, college and/or library of repute.

• Senior Engineer (NPS-18) 

Qualifications: First Class, B.E Civil 

Experience: 05 years experience in Planning and Implementation of Projects.

• Manager University-Industry Linkages and Technology Transfer (NPS-18)

Qualifications: M.E/MS with 4 years of experience OR MSc/M.A/MBA with 06 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience: 

i. Experience in working with business and industry on projects, monitoring and evaluation. 

ii. Experience of administration work at any Public / Private sector organization. 

iii. Familiarity with issues of technology transfer, intellectual property, commercialization of university research and best practices, university-industry relations and public-private partnerships; iv. Preference will be given to candidates, also has linkages with the national and international business and NG0s.

• Chief Security Officer (NPS-18) 

Qualification:

• Retired Armed Forces personnel of the rank of Major and above, with minimum 10 years experience in Security, encompassing Security Human Resource Management & managing protocol duties. • Must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills. 

• Should be able to manage the security set-up, independently and ensure an excellent team cohesion/working.

• Medical Officer (NPS-17) 

Qualifications: MBBS with one-year House job and registered with PMDC. 

Experience: Candidate having experience will be preferred.

• Assistant Director (P&D) NPS-17 

Qualifications: BSc, Civil/ Bachelor of Architecture, registered with PEC/PCATP 

Experience: Relevant experience will be preferred.

• Lab Engineer (NPS-17)

• Electrical 

• Power Electronics 

• Control Instrumentation & Measurement 

• Power System 

Qualifications: B.E, First Class in the specific discipline of Engineering. 

Experience: No experience required.

• A detailed CV, covering letter, attested copies of all the testimonials, three recent photographs must be submitted with the application to the office of Deputy Registrar-BUET, Khuzdar by 20th January 2019. 

• In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. 

• Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
