CANDIDATES MAY APPLY AGAINST ANY GROUP AND HE WILL BE CONSIDERED IN ALL CATEGORIES GIVEN IN A GROUP, ONE CAN ALSO APPLY IN MORE THAN ONE GROUP.  REQUIREMENT WILL BE CARRIED OUT AS PER FOLLOWING QUOTAS. 

1. Open Merit 60% (58% for Group A, D, F & J) 

2. Sons of Railway employees either in service, Retired or deceased. 20% including 2% Quota for sons of those railway employees who died on duty 

3. Ex-Servicemen 10% 

4. Orphan 5% 

5. Minority 5% 

6. Disabled (for Group A, D, F & J Only) 2% 

7. Women Quota ( where applicable) 5% 

AGE LIMIT: 

1. 18 to 25 years + 5 years General relaxation in upper age limit on the closing date. 

2. In case of Ex. Servicemen, the upper age limit is relaxable to the extent of service rendered by him in the Armed Forces or 15 years in addition to item No.1 whichever is less. 

3. The age of candidates belonging to the Sindh Rural, Balochistan, scheduled Casts & Buddhist Community. is relaxed for 03 years in addition item No.1 above. 

4. The age of Government servants and contract employees who have completed 02 years continuous Government service on the closing date for submission of application is relaxed for 10 years in addition to item No.1 above. 

5. In case of sons of deceased Civil Servants who died during service is relaxed for 05 years in addition item No.1 above. 

NOTE: 

Where a candidate is entitled to age relaxation under more one category specified above, he shall be allowed relaxation in the age in one category only. 

TERMS AND CONDITION OF THE RECRUITMENT: 

1. Only the eligible candidates will be called for test/interview 

2. Government servants (including Railway employees) should submit their application through the Head of their department by producing N.O.C from their concerned department. 

3. In case of children of Railway employees, the father/ mother of the candidate has to submit an affidavit that none of his children has 

been appointed against Railway employees quota previously. 

4. Selected candidates will be required to pass the prescribed Medical Examination from Pakistan Railways Hospital only. 

5. Candidates who have ever been convicted in offences, involving in moral turpitude or persons who have been dismissed by the 

Federal or any Provincial Govt. of Pakistan will be considered ineligible. 

6. Overage candidates will not be entertained in any case. 

7. No relaxation even in case of the son of Railway employees in Education Qualification, age limit (specified above) and in medical fitness 

will be permitted. 

8. The CompetentAuthority has the right to reject any application/applications without assigning any reason under the rules. 

9. The number of posts can be changed (increased/decreased) without assigning any reasons. 

10. The CompetentAuthority has the right to cancel the selection if the administrative reasons so warrant at any stage. 

11. No TA/DA will be admissible for Written Test/Interview.

1. National Identity card. 

2. Domicile. 

3. Relationship Certificate (in the case of the Son of Railway employee) 

4. Army discharged book in case of Ex. Servicemen. 

5. Educational Certificates. 

6. Three photographs of passport size. 

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS: 

1. The desirous candidates may submit their application on "PLAIN PAPER" free of cost along with complete Bio-data and required documents directly in C.R -Section of Divisional Superintendent Office. Pakistan Railways, Near Ayub Gate, Sukkur, on working days from 10:00 hours to 14:00 hours (Friday 09:00 hours to 11:00 hours) except Sunday. 

2. Applications can also be sent through Registered Post (Acknowledgment due) addressed to the Divisional Superintendent Office, Pakistan Railways, near Ayub Gate, Sukkur. 

3. Incomplete applications (without certificates/mark sheet and testimonials and two self-addressed envelopes duly stamped mentioning the name of the post applied for on the corner of the envelope) will not be entertained. 

4. Please send separate Application if you wish to apply more than one post. 

5. Telephone Numbers/Mobile Numbers should also be endorsed on application forms and envelopes.
