The Lahore College for Women University is a public university in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established in May 1922 as a women's college. One of the oldest female institutions of Pakistan, the university has 15,000 students and a teaching faculty of 450.

VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT

(For Lahore Campus) 

• Senior Clerk (BPS-14)

Qualification: Intermediate (at least 2nd Division) from recognized institution / Board with 5 years experience as Junior Clerk. Computer knowledge will be preferred. 

• Store Keeper (BPS-14)

Qualification: Graduate (at least 2nd Division) from HEC recognized University / Institution with 2-years experience in relevant field or Intermediate (at least 2nd Division) with 5 years experience in the relevant field. 

• Sub Engineer (BPS-14)

Qualification: Diploma in Civil/ Electrical Technology from a recognized institution/ Board. 

• Laboratory Assistant (BPS-14)

Qualification: B.Sc. (at least 2nd Division) in the relevant discipline from HEC recognized University/ Institution with 5 years experience in the relevant field. 

• Hardware Technician (BPS-14)

Qualification: Intermediate in Computer Science or DAE and have A+ certification or equivalent certification from HEC recognized University/ Institution/ Board with 5 years of experience in LAN environment. Must have LAN configuration and disk cloning experience. Must have knowledge & experience of CAT 6 Patch/ Crossover/ configuration Cable. Must have the experience to maintain records and inventories. Must possess good communication skills.

• Administrative Assistant (BPS-14)

Qualification: BA/ B.Sc. (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC recognized University/ Institution. Preference will be given to a candidate who has knowledge of word processing or typing.

• Dispatch Rider (BPS-05)

Qualification: Middle. a valid Motorcycle driving license.

• Lift Operator (BPS-05)

Qualification: Matric with 3-years relevant experience. 

• Record Keeper (BPS-05)

Qualification: F.Sc. at least 2nd Division with 2 years experience in relevant field. 

• Driver (BPS-05)

Qualification: Literate, having L.T.V./ H.T.V. License. Preference will be given to an experienced person. 

• Waterman (BPS-02)

Qualification: Literate. 

(B) NON-TEACHING POSTS:- (For Jhang Campus) 

• Hardware Technician (BPS-14)

Qualification: Intermediate in Computer Science or DAE and have A-1- certification or equivalent certification from HEC recognized University/ Institution/ Board with 5 years of experience in LAN environment. • Sanitary Worker (BPS-02)

Qualification: Literate. 

General Information:  

Application Form along with one page CV, attested photocopies of relevant documents, NIC, Domicile, one recent photograph and experience certificates must be attached with the application. Application Forms are available from the Registrar Office on the payment of Rs. 100/- for BS-12 to BS-16 and Rs. 50/- for BS-02 to BPS-11 Posts or equivalent Posts from 09:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m. 

i) The last date for submission of applications is 19th  December 2018.  

ii) The candidates. sending their Application Forms through the mail, have to attach a Bank Draft for each post in favour of Treasurer, LCWU. They should mention the name of Post on the Envelop. 

iii) For all posts, only HEC recognized degrees are acceptable. No form will be considered without proper degrees/certificate. 

iv) Foreign Degree holders must provide Equivalence Certificate issued by the Higher Education Commission. 

v) Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will not be acceptable. 

vi) Applicants applying for the above-mentioned posts having equivalent degrees of the post/subject must provide equivalence certificate issued by the HEC, Islamabad. 

vii) Candidates presently working in Government, Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies should send their applications through Proper Channel only. Advance copies are not acceptable. 

viii) Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the inter-

view. University may conduct the written test if the number of applicants is more than 50. 

ix) Upper age limit is relaxable in exceptional cases under 

University Rules. 

x) Quota (Disable, Minorities & Women) will be applicable as per Government / University Rules. 

xi) The inter-campus transfer is not allowed on these Posts. 

xii) Preference will be given to the female candidates. 

xiii) No TA/DA will be paid for the interview. 

xiv) University Authorities reserve the right: 

• To shortlist the candidates. 

• Not to fill any vacancy without any reason. 

• Withhold appointment, on any advertised post. 

• Increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
