The University Of Turbat (UOT) Gwadar Campus Balochistan.

The University of Turbat invites applications for the following Contract based positions for its Gwadar Campus. 

SITUATIONS VACANT

• Director (Gwadar Campus) (BPS-19)

Master's Degree in the at least 2nd division from a recognized institution/ university with a minimum of 12 years' post-qualification experience in grade 17 or above from Govt, Semi-Govt or autonomous bodies. Experience of working in a University will be treated as an additional qualification. 

• Assistant Director (Finance) (BPS-17)

MBA (Finance), M.Com or ACMA in at least 2nd Division from an HEC-recognized university with 3 years' post-qualification experience in relevant field in a university/ Government Department/ Autonomous Organization. Knowledge of Basic Computer Skills is necessary. Having command on accounts related software will be an additional qualification. 

• Assistant Director (Admin & HR) (BPS-17)

MBA/MPA in the at least 2nd division from a recognized university with minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in relevant field in university/ college/ Government or Semi-Government Department/ Autonomous Organization. Knowledge of Basic Computer skills is necessary. 

• Assistant Director (Examinations) (BPS-17)

MBA/MPA or M.Sc/M.A. (Economics) in at least 2nd Division from a recognized university with minimum 3 years' post qualification experience in relevant field in a university or other educational institution/Government or Semi Govt department/ Autonomous organization. Knowledge of Basic Computer skills is necessary. 

• Assistant (BPS-15)

Bachelor's Degree (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC recognized university with at least 5 years experience of office work. Knowledge of basic computer skills i.e. MS Office etc is necessary. 

• Assistant System Engineer/Network Engineer (BPS-16)

BSCS (4 years), BS IT (4 years), BS SE (4 years), MCS, M.Sc IT or equivalent qualification from HEC-accredited institution/University, with minimum 3 years experience of system administration experience in a versatile environment. MCITP certified with a strong knowledge of managing / designing active Directory infrastructure will be preferable. Must have strong Knowledge of Virtualization /Cloud Computing/ Clustering and SAN/NAS deployment Experience. Should be able to administrate SQL databases, MS TMG, Share Point MS-Exchange and core services. 

• Computer Operator (BPS-11)

BSCS, BS IT, BS SE, MCS, M.Sc. IT or equivalent qualification from an HEC-accredited institution/ university or Graduate Degree with 1-year Diploma in IT/ Computer Science from a recognized institution. 

• Office Secretary (BPS-11)

Intermediate (at least 2nd Division) with typing speed of 30 words, per minute. Should have knowledge of basic computer skills. 

• Junior Clerk (BPS-11) 

Intermediate (at least Second Division) with typing speed of 30 words, per minute. Should have knowledge of basic computer skills. 

• Driver (BPS-5) 

Should be able to read and write. Should have a license of Driving heavy vehicles with at least three years' driving experience. 

• Naib Qasid / Attendant (BPS-1) 

Should be at least Middle pass. Candidate having experience of such works will be given preference. 

• Security Guard (BPS-1) 

At least Middle pass with minimum three years experience of the relevant field. 

• Mali (BPS-1) 

At least Middle pass with minimum three years experience of the relevant field. 

• Sweeper (BPS-1)

Should be able to read and write. Must have knowledge and experience of janitorial work. 

Other Requirements/Information:  

i. Maximum age limit is 35 years. 

ii. Interested individuals who meet the criteria can obtain the application from the Registrar office Main campus, University of Turbat or office of the Campus Director, Gwadar, Sarawan Avenue, New Town, Phase IV, Gwadar or download it from www.uot.edu.pk. A bank draft of Rs. 1500/- for BPS-16 and above, Rs.1000/- for BPS-6-15 and Rs. 500/- for BPS-1-5, as processing fee in favour of the UoT Gwadar campus, must be accompanied with the application form. 

iii. Candidates are required to attach CV, two latest passport size photographs and two copies of CNIC, copies of all educational certificates/degrees, experience certificate, local/domicile certificate with the application form. 

iv. Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel along with NOC, issued by their parent departments with due date; otherwise, their application will not be entertained. 

v. Incomplete applications or those received after due date or not fulfilling the minimum criteria would not be entertained in any case. 

vi. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing at the interview/written test. 

vii. Canvassing in any manner or form will disqualify the candidates. 

viii. The competent authority of the university reserves the right of cancelling any or all of the above positions, without assigning any reasons. 

ix. The UoT may conduct a written test itself or through a third party to shortlist the candidates for the post in BPS-11 and above. 

x. For posts in BPS-1 to BPS-5 the candidates having domicile of Gwadar District will be preferred, as per Govt. policy. 

xi. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview 

The last date for the receipt of applications in the office of Registrar, UOT Turbat or Director (Gwadar Campus) is 12th November 2018 after which no application can be accepted.
