The Department of Family Medicine of the Aga Khan University is the first in Pakistan to be recognized as a speciality at undergraduate and postgraduate level fostering a thriving, collaborative environment focusing on quality care and excellence in education. We invite applications for the following positions: 

• SENIOR INSTRUCTOR 

You should have completed a structured postgraduate training program in Family Medicine from a reputable institution and possess FCPS, MRCGP, American Boards or equivalent qualification with at least one year of post-qualification experience. 

• ASSISTANT PROFESSOR 

Additional to the basic requirements of senior instructor you should have at least three years of experience and be a major contributor for two or more papers in peer-reviewed journals. 

• ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR 

Additional to the basic requirements of senior instructor you should have consistent senior authorship of one to two investigative research papers per year in reputable peer-reviewed journals. In addition, a demonstrated scholarship acumen through research, publications and/or contribution to education will be beneficial. 

• RESEARCH INSTRUCTOR 

You should have a Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology and. Biostatistics. Additional background in medicine or allied field will be beneficial. 

• SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRE 

You should have an MBBS degree with minimum four years of experience in clinical settings, preferably in Family Medicine. Candidates with MCPS diploma in Family Medicine will be given preference. 

• SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER - FIELD BASED (OUTSIDE KARACHI) 

You should have MBBS degree with minimum four years of experience in clinical settings, preferably in Family, Emergency and/or Cardiac Medicine. You should be willing to work on a specific rotation.
