Allama Iqbal Medical College & Jinnah Hospital Lahore Punjab.

Applications are invited from the Punjab domiciled suitable candidates on the prescribed proforma which can be obtained from the Office of the Principal, Allama Iqbal Medical College / Jinnah Hospital, Lahore for appointment on contract basis of Board of Management for a period of one year, which will be re-appoint able subject to good performance or till the availability of regular incumbent:-

JOB OPPORTUNITY

• Professor (BS-20) (Gastroenterology) 

MBBS or the equivalent medical qualification recognized I registered by Pakistan Medical & Dental Gourd (PMDC)

First Preference: PM&DC level III Qualification in the respective subject like FCPS/M.DI Diplomate American Board in the respective speciality or any other equivalent qualification approved by PM&DC At least Three Years Experience as an Associate Professor in the respective subject is essential provided that total experience as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor is not less than 8 years OR Nine Years teaching experience as 

At least Five Research Publications are required in the relevant subject. Only an original article published in a medical puma) approved by the PM&DC shall be acceptable dissertation thesis shall not be counted. 

• Assistant Professor (BS-18) (Gastroenterology)

MBBS or the equivalent medical qualification recognized I registered by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) 

First Preference: PM&DC level III Qualification in respective subjects like FCPS/MD/ Diplomate American Board in the respective speciality or any other equivalent qualification approved by PM&DC OR Second Preference: If the first preference is not available, Level - Ill qualification in general medicine with three years Practical or teaching Experience in the relevant speciality. First Preference: Two years Teaching Experience as Senior Registrar or equivalent in relevant subject from recognized Institute in a relevant speciality before or after level III Qualification. Second Preference (if first preference is not available) one-year tea* experience as Senior Registrar or Equivalent before or after level - Ill qualification it the relevant subject or level - Ill qualification in General Medicine with three years practical I leaching experience and one-year additional experience as Senior Registrar in sub speciality. 

No Publication is required. 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:  

1. The appointment shall be made strictly on merit according to the policy of the Government of Punjab.
