The University of Education, Lahore established in 2002 through an Ordinance issued y the Governor of Punjab, was created out of several leading teacher training institutions working all across Punjab. It comprises on nine Campuses and three functional Divisions situated in Lahore, Attock, Multan, Vehari, Dera Ghazi Khan. Faisalabad and Jouharabad. Currently, we are in search of faculty and staff, to be employed in the disciplines I posts listed below. Master degree (first division) in a relevant subject or 30-40 equivalent with six years' relevant experience. years.

• Assistant Director (Administration, BS-17) 

Master degree in relevant subject or equivalent with one years' relevant experience for those who obtained first division in masters degree and five years relevant experience for those who obtained second division in master's degree.

• Assistant Director (Finance, BS-17) 

Master degree in relevant subject or equivalent with one years' relevant experience for those who obtained first division in master's degree and five years relevant experience for those who obtained second division in master's degree.

Faisalabad Campus 

• Librarian (BS-17) 

Master degree in relevant subject or equivalent with 22-35 one years' relevant experience for those who obtained years first division in master's degree and five years relevant experience for those who obtained second division in master's degree. Preference will be given to those having the expertise and hands-on experience of building the institutional repositories and application of library software, i.e., Koha, D-Space. etc.

Attack and DG Khan, Campuses 

• Librarian (BS-16) 

Master Degree (second division) in relevant subject 22-35 or equivalent from an institution recognized HEC with years one year's experience in the relevant field. Preference will be given to those having the expertise and hands-on experience of building the institutional repositories and application of library software, i.e., Koha, D-Space. etc.

1 Applicants are required to apply online after creating his / her account on the university portal website. www.ue.edu.pk/jobs  After submitting the online application, applicants are also required to sign and submit hardcopy/print out of this pre-filedonlneappcationformtotheRegistrarofficenvsityofEduation. College Road Township, Lahore along-with attested copies of CNIC, domicile, all educational documents/ certificates, experience certificates all other relevant documents and original Bank Draft worth Rs.2000 for the posts at Sr. # 01 to 05, Rs. 1,000/- for the posts at Sr. # 06 to 10 payable to the Treasurer, University of Education. Lahore.  

2 Only On-Line Application Form will not be accepted. Hardcopy I printout of the online application form must be submitted by the applicants. 

3 Editing options, to edit/correct any data in the On-Line Application Form, will be available to the applicants till the Closing Date.

5 Applications submitted without original Bank Draft will not be entertained and a deposited amount is non-refundable / non-transferable. 

6 The candidates applying On-Line for the post of Professor / Associate Professor should submit sets of six hard copies of On-Line Application along with six complete sets of testimonials/research publications/certificate of any distinction etc. 

General Information: 

1 Relaxation in upper age limit may be granted to suitable candidates as per rules. 

2 The quota for disabled persons, minorities and women will be observed as per rules. 

3 Degrees only from HEC recognized Universities/degree awarding Institutions will be considered. 

4 Foreign degree holders must submit their equivalence certificate/(s) issued by the HEC. Pakistan. 

5 Candidates presently working in Government, Semi Government and Autonomous Bodies must send their applications through proper channel only. On-Line applications submitted without NOC shall not be entertained. 

6 Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the interview. No TA/DA will be admissible. 

7 In case candidate desires to apply for more than one post, he/she must apply separately for each post. 

8 The Selectees will be liable to serve in any Campus / Division of the University of Education, Lahore. 

9 Experience, where prescribed, would include equivalent experience, in a profession or in the service of an autonomous or semi-autonomous organization or well-reputed organization gained after acquiring basic requisite qualification for the post. 

10 Closing date for submission of online applications is August 20, 2018, however, the applicant should submit the hard copy of the application within seven days after the closing date in the office of the Registrar. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date (even dispatched through courier) will not be accepted. 

11 University reserves the rights to increase/decrease or totally withdraw the vacancies without assigning any reason.
