Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for the appointment of the following posts under the HEC funded project No. TDF02-069 titled "PROCESS SCALE-UP AND OPTIMIZATION FOR SYNTHESIS OF THERMOSTABLE INDUSTRIAL ENZYMES" at School of Biological Sciences (SBS), University of the Punjab, Lahore. Duration of the project is for two years and the project work includes large-scale production of the enzymes and their commercialization. 

SITUATION VACANT NOTICE

• Research Officer 

PhD student (Fixed Pay Rs.20000 / month) 
Qualification & Experience: 

M.Phil. / MS / M.Sc. (Hons.) or equivalent in Biological Sciences (Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Food Science & Technology / Biochemistry or other relevant fields) with good grades. Those having experience in the recombinant DNA work/gene expression/protein synthesis and purification are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to the candidates who have qualified International GRE Subject Test. 

• Research Associate 

(M.Phil./ MS / M.Sc. (Hons.) student) (Fixed Pay Rs.15,000 / month) 
Qualification & Experience: 
M.Sc. / BS / B.Sc. (Hons.) or equivalent in Food Science & Technology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry or other relevant fields, with good grades.
