A public sector organization requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced candidates belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the following contractual positions to reach on or before 05-08-2018 to Post Box No.305. 

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT 


  • DRM Program Specialist 


Master's Degree in disaster management or social sciences or environmental management or equivalent discipline. Good Knowledge of Government and International Humanitarian Assistance Organizations, National or International NGOs, Donors and related issues in post-emergency/disaster, recovery and reconstruction. The incumbent must have proven experience of disaster resilient rehabilitation and reconstruction and risk development. At least 10 years of national and international experience in disaster/emergency management and risk planning projects. At least 03 years' of experience of working directly with government disaster management bodies in Pakistan. Elaborate knowledge of existing DRM institutions, policies, best practices, technical guidelines and standards at provincial or national or international levels. Proven experience in developing programs monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, standard operational procedures, guidelines etc. Excellent written oral presentation skills with advanced writing skills. 

  • DRM Program Assistant 


Masters Degree in disaster management or social sciences or environmental management or an equivalent discipline. Good Knowledge of Government and International Humanitarian Assistance Organizations, National or International NGOs, Donors and related issues in post-emergency/ disaster, recovery and reconstruction. Must have Information of disaster resilient rehabilitation & reconstruction/construction and risk development. At least 3-5 years of national and international experience in emergency management and humanitarian protection projects. At least 1 year of experience of working directly with disaster management bodies in Pakistan Elaborate knowledge of existing DRM institutions, policies, best practices, technical guidelines, and standards at provincial, national and international levels. Proven experience in developing programs, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, standard operational procedures, guidelines etc. Demonstrated coordination, analytical, management and facilitation skills; Excellent written and oral presentation skills with advanced writing skills. Cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability. Fluency in written and spoken English with preferably Pashtu speaking. 

  • DRM Coordinator- Field Level 


Master's Degree in social sciences or disaster management or another relevant discipline with 3 years of experience in DRM. Good understanding of DRM Concepts and knowledge existing DRM/DRR institutions, policies, and guidelines for provincial, national and international levels. Support coordination among various district government departments, INGOs/NGOs and other stakeholders on behalf of DDMU for execution and implementation of DRR/DRM related activities. Facilitate the engagement of consultants/experts and support capacity building programs for a government official and at the community level; Support execution of pointing/launch CBDRM activities in the selected vulnerable communities and feed the learning's in the District DRM plan Fluency in written and spoken English with preferably Pashtu speaking. (Candidates from Malakand Division especially Bunir will be preferred) 

  • ICT Officer


Bachelors or equivalent degree in computer science, information technology and or another relevant discipline with 1-2 years of professional experience.  • Support the identification, procurement, and installation of IT infrastructure for the DDMU/Emergency Response Center Initiate database for trained volunteers/emergency responders and ensure it is regularly updated Knowledge of the database management and related hardware and software. Fluency in written and spoken English. (Candidates from Malakand Division especially Bunir will be preferred) 



2. Attested copies of education certificate from the recognized board, domicile certificate, experience certificate, copy of Computerized National Identity Card and two passport size photographs shall be attached with the application. 
3. Candidates serving in government/semi government/autonomous bodies shall apply through proper channel. 
4. Final selection will be made purely on merit in light of the criteria for appointment notified by the provincial government. 
5. The competent authority may suspend the whole process at any time without assigning any reason and may re-advertise the posts. 
6. Incomplete applications, those received after due date and those without the required documents will not be entertained. 
7. No TA/DA will be paid for the screening test/interview.
