College of Ophthalmology & Allied Vision Sciences (COAVS) Lahore Punjab.

The following vacancies are available on ADHOC BASIS for One Year as per the criteria are written against each post: AT College of Ophthalmology & Allied Vision Sciences (COAVS) 

SITUATIONS VACANT

• Assistant Professor Diagnostic Ophthalmology (BS- 18) 

i) MBBS or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and the following postgraduate qualifications: 

a. FCPS/ FRCS (Ophthalmology) OR 

b. MD/ MS (Ophthalmology) OR ii) FCPS (Surgery)/MS (Surgery) or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC with a minor diploma in ophthalmology recognized by PMDC.

Three years experience after post. graduation in Diagnostic Ophthalmology. 

• Assistant Professor Ophthalmology (BS .18) 

i) MBBS or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and the following postgraduate qualifications: a. PCPS/ FRCS (Ophthalmology) OR b. MD/ MS (Ophthalmology) OR ii) FCPS (Surgery MS (Surgery) or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC with mina diploma in ophthalmology recognized by PMDC 

i) Three years experience in Ophthalmology in a recognized Institution after post graduation

ii) Experience in ophthalmology will be preferred.

• Glaucoma Specialist (BS -18) 

i) According to Pakistan Medical & Dental Council's rules & regulations for Assistant Professor (Ophthalmology) fi) Post Fellowship training in Glaucoma. 

According to Pakistan Medical & Dental Council's rules & regulations. 

• Vitreoretinal Specialist (BS -18) 

i) MBBS equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council and the following postgraduate qualifications: 

a. PCPS/ FRCS (Ophthalmology) OR 

b. MD/MS (Ophthalmology) OR ii) FCPS (Surgery MS (Surgery) or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMDC with a minor diploma in ophthalmology recognized by PMDC. 

iii) Post Fellowship (raining in Vitreoretinal Three years practical experience in Ophthalmology in a recognized Institution after post-graduation.

• Community Ophthalmologist (BS-18) 

i) MBBS equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. 

ii) M.Sc.(Community Ophthalmology) 

Two years experience in Preventive Ophthalmology after past graduation. 

• Epidemiologist (BS-18) 

i) MOBS or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council.

ii) MPhil in Community Medicine with Majors in Epidemiology OR iii) M.Sc. in Epidemiology At least two years experience in the field of Epidemiology.

• Research Post (BS 18) 

i) MBBS or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council 

ii) MS/FCPS/FRCS Ophthalmology cc equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council OR 

iii) MPH/ MSc (Community Eye Healthy M.Sc., Epidemiology Research post will be of 2 years' duration & will be in the subject related to clinical a preventive ophthalmology. 

• Corneal Specialist (BS -18) ) 

According to Pakistan Medical & Dental Council's rules & regulations for Assistant Professor (Ophthalmology) il) Post Fellowship training in Corneal diseases Three years practical experience in Ophthalmology in a recognized Institution after post graduation. 25 -40 01 9 101, 

• Bank/ Corneal Bank Manager (B8-17) 

i) MBBS equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council One Year Experience in Ophthalmology after MBBS.

• Medical Officer (BS-17) 

i. MBBS or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Denial Council ii. DOMS/ MCPS (Ophthalmology) will be given preference. Experience in ophthalmology will be preferred.

7. Age relaxation will be given to Government savants according to rules & regulations of Punjab Government. 

8. 5% quota for Minorities 3% quota for disabled persons, 15% quota for women shall be reserved.
