PAK-ARAB REFINERY LIMITED -Abu Dhabi Joint Venture Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO). an integrated energy conglomerate. Is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. PARCO owns and operates Pakistan, largest and most modern refinery. over 2.000 kms. of the pipeline network, strategic storage facilities and marketing operations. The Company has Joint Ventures with renowned international companies and is continually following an aggressive growth strategy with planned expansions, acquisitions and penetration into new markets. 

PARCO has recently Initiated the PARCO Coastal Refinery Limited (PCRL) project, a 250.000 bpd deep cony modem refinery with marine facilities, at an estimated project cost of USD 5 billion. PCRL will be Pakistan, largest industrial project to be lo.ted in coastal area of Balochistan near Karachi. It will be a significant addition to Pakistan, oil refining infrastructure, Focused on Euro IV products for the Pakistan markets and is expected to to be commissioned by 2023, The Project will reduce the growing supply-demand gap for fuels and lead to various other socio-economic benefits for the country. 

Applications for the following positions are required for upcoming/on-going projects: 

JOBS OPPORTUNITIES

• CIVIL TECHNOLOGISTS 

Qualification & Experience: DAE or B.Tech in Civil Technology from a recognized institute with at least 10-15 years of relevant experience in design and construction of civil projects. The candidate must have hands-on experience of site supervision/inspection of industrial construction projects such as plant foundations, pre-cast bound, walls, soak pits, watchtowers. etc. as well as evaluating contractors' performance. Experience of civil engineering projects relating to oil 8. gas industry is desirable. The candidate should be conversant with CAD/CAM, Primavera/MS Project, Visio and MS Office Suite. Sound knowledge of construction materials and their class., lab tests, survey Instruments, etc. is essential. 

Responsibilities: 

• The incumbent will be responsible for supervising all types of civil/construction activities including design, execution, quality control and conformance to design specifications. 

• The incumbent will be assisting the project team in the preparation and review of bid documents, BOOS and verification of contractors' estimates/bills and should be able to write reports. Prates and documents, etc. 

Age: Should not exceed 45 years.

• QUALITY CONTROLLER 

Qualification & Experience: DAE or B.Tech in Civil Technology from a recognized institute with at least 10-15 years of relevant experience. The candidate must be fully conversant with BS, ASTM codes and standards and must have in-depth knowledge of concrete, steel enforcement, waterproofing and other Civil Works, latest tools techniques & methods for underground and overhead structures. The Job requires a complete understanding of Civil Engineering drawing as well as writing and be reviewing civil engineering reports. The candidate must be computer literate. Experience in oil & gas industry is desirable. 

Responsibilities:

• Preparing, monitoring and controlling OA/QC plans. 

• Ensuring that work is carried out as per specifications, keeping within budget and time.

• Testing of soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, pre-cast, or steel. 

Age: Should not exceed 45 years.

• SAFETY OFFICER 

Qualification & Experience: DAE or B.Tech in a relevant discipline from a recognized institute with at least 10-15 years of relevant experience. The candidate must be fully conversant with OHSAS, NEBOSH. IOSH and other safety standards and should be able to conduct risk management site audit and root cause analysis. The candidate must be computer literate, Experienced in Oil & Gas Industry is desirable.

• Maintaining sale. s.ure healthy work environment, enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal angd technical regulations aswith zero loss to property and Individuals

•  Ensuring Safety Standards as well as quality standards of materials during construction activities. 

• Assisting in preparation and implementation of HSE Plan including Training, Drills, PPEs compliance and other safety protocol requirements. 

•  Preparing status reports on the Weer.s of the project.
