GIZ implements on behalf of the German Ministry of Development Cooperation (BMZ) the Social Protection Project which is seeking suitable candidates for the following positions:

Vacancy Announcement

• Junior Admin & Finance Officer 

(Reference No. SP-SHP 2018/004) Duty Station: Islamabad 

Qualifications and Experience: • University degree in business administration, general management, or similar area
• At least three years in this area in a comparable position
• Highly motivated and able to work independently, producing outputs of high quality
• Good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
• Good command of the English and Urdu language (written and spoken)
• Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

• Advisor Learning and Research 

(Reference No. SP-SHP 2018/005) Duty Station: Islamabad 

Qualifications and Experience: • Master's degree in social sciences, economics, political sciences or any other relevant field, a postgraduate degree in public health is an advantage
• At least 5 years' professional experience with relevant INGOs. UN Agencies, development organisations supporting social protection, an inclusive programme for vulnerable population
• At least 3 years proven work experience in concept development and implementation of applied research preferably in the field of social protection
• Experience in working with government institutions on design and/or monitoring of social protection programmes to reduce poverty and improve health & employment
• Experience in implementing capacity building measures, peer-to-peer learning approaches
• Good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office) 

• Excellent command of the English and Urdu Language (written and spoken) 

• Advisor Social Protection 

(Reference No. SP-SHP 2018/006) Duty Station: Islamabad 

Qualifications and Experience: • Master's degree in Economics, Public Policy or in a related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a comparable position in the development sector and/ or research related position and/or international organization
• Experience in establishing and maintaining inter-sectoral coordination and cooperation with and between various partner departments and fostering cooperation among provincial and federal institutions
• Competent knowledge of social protection concepts in international discussion and of Pakistan' s social protection system & partner landscape
• Good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
• Excellent English and Urdu language skills (written and spoken)
• Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

• Advisor Regional Coordination 

(Reference No. SP-SHP 2018/007) Duty Station: Peshawar 

Qualifications and Experience: • Masters/ MSc in economics, political and or social sciences from a recognised university
• Relevant work experience of at least 5 years. out of which at least 2 years' in a comparable position,
• Work experience in a public department/ administration in KR
• Basic knowledge of the social protection system and/or public health system in Pakistan and the provinces
• Highly motived and able to work independently, producing outputs of high quality
• Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Very good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office)
• Fluent written and oral knowledge of English and Pashtu
• Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
